The actor Paul Newman was given his famous Rolex Daytona by wife Joanne Woodward in 1968, this watch would go on to mark a milestone for the watch-collecting community for setting a record of $17.75 million at auction in 2017. Joanne never liked the fact that Paul raced cars, so on the back of this racing inspired chronograph, she had it inscribed "DRIVE CAREFULLY ME".
